WebI’ve dyed acu and abu gear with apple green and dark green rit dye. Apple green came out kinda pale and the dark green was almost emerald. I think apple green in 140 degree water for 20-30 mins would be a good place to start. Remember whatever color it is in the water is pretty much what it’ll be dry. WebApple green is the only green from rit that looks natural. A cup of vinegar and some salt will help synthetics take the dye along with a looooong soak time at a low boil. I used 1 bottle of Kelly Green and half a bottle of dark brown RIT dye. I heated up the water on the stove and mixed the dye and the water in a bucket and let the ACUs soak for about an hour.
