WebI think some people have a bad experience because the basic iRig looks about the same, and it's really inexpensive, but it's noisy and has bad sounds quality. The iRig HD is definitely more expensive than the basic iRig, but totally worth the extra money, and it works great. I really like the form factor. I should also clarify, iRig works perfectly with no latency if I go through my iPhone. I'd prefer not to use it this way cus it drains the phone fast, and it's not that loud.
